From Lima: Paracas, Ica & Huacachina Full Day Tour

Our excursion begins with hotel pick-up at 4:00 Am, the first stop will be in Chilca for breakfast. Around 9:30 a.m., we will arrive at the Paracas Tourist Por for SERNANP control and boarding for the Ballestas Islands.

Adventure Time
Onboard boats, we’ll immerse ourselves in the incredible marine world for 1.5 hours. The first stop will be at the famous “Candelabra” figure etched into the sand, where the guide will explain various theories about its origin and purpose. We then continue navigating with the sea breeze around us to the Ballestas Islands, surrounded by abundant marine life, including sea lions, Humboldt penguins, countless guano birds, and, if lucky, a curious dolphin. You won’t want to put your camera down!

Next, we travel to Ica for 1.5 hours to visit a vineyard. Here, we’ll tour the facilities and enjoy an exquisite tasting of local wines and piscos. There will also be time for lunch and, on weekends, Afro-Peruvian dances and music.

Afterward, we head to the Huacachina Oasis. Upon arrival, we’ll hop off the bus and into buggies (sand dune vehicles) for an exciting ride over the endless dunes of Ica. This one-hour adventure includes walking through the desert and sandboarding. You’ll slide down the dunes (approximately two sand slides). After this adrenaline-filled experience, you’ll have enough time to stroll around the oasis, take photos, and shop.

Return to Lima

At 5:30 p.m., we begin our return journey to Lima, arriving between 10:00 and 10:30 p.m.
