BOOKING POLICIES
  • Tours begin with passenger pick-up from their hotel (must be near Cusco’s Plaza de Armas) and end near the same location.
  • The client will cover all transaction fees or money transfer commissions for tour reservations.
  • Before booking a tour, check availability.
  • If booking tours with hotel accommodations, the package price is based on double occupancy, meaning at least two people must travel to access these prices. If only one person is traveling, consult beforehand.
  • Cancellations or date changes must be made at least 1 month in advance.
  • Individuals who fail to show up on the agreed date, arrive late for the tour, or wish to cancel services after the minimum cancellation date will be considered NO SHOW, and no refund will be provided.
  • Rates do not include VAT (IGV).
  • The agency is not responsible for the loss of valuable items during the tour.
  • The agency is not responsible for sudden cancellations due to natural phenomena or civil events (e.g., extreme snowfall, strikes, protests).
  • Tours do not include travel insurance.
CANCELLATION POLICIES:

If the trip is canceled, and depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made, MC Peru Expeditions will attempt to offer an alternative. If this is not accepted, the refund will be issued as follows:

Refunds:

  • No refunds will be given if the client does not show up on the departure day or leaves the trip early.
  • No refunds will be made for unused services such as train rides, entrance fees, international or domestic flights, buses, accommodations, excursions, and services included in the trip (as these services are booked well in advance to secure itineraries).

Cancellations:

  • Full refund if the reservation is canceled 30 days before the tour start date. However, the client will cover money transfer or other associated fees.
FOR DAY TOURS (EXCEPT MACHU PICCHU):
  • Up to 7 days before the trip: 80% refund of the amount paid,  money transfer or other associated fees its taken by custumer.
  • After 7 days before the trip:
    the program is NON-REFUNDABLE.
  • Note: All refunds will be processed exclusively through a PayPal account.

RESCHEDULING POLICIES
  • All ticket reservations are personal, non-transferable, non-endorsable, and non-refundable. These are subject to the policies of the Ministry of Culture and the Train Company.
  • For third-party providers (e.g., hotels), cancellations requested 15 days before the tour’s start date are non-refundable (NO SHOW). As independent companies, they have their own cancellation policies, which we must adhere to.
  • For client-initiated rescheduling at least 30 days before the contracted service date, please note:
    • Machu Picchu entry tickets are entirely non-refundable and non-modifiable (new tickets must be purchased).
  • If the third-party provider (e.g., hotels, train companies) allows rescheduling without fare differences, it will be processed without penalties. If the provider does not allow rescheduling, their policies and fees will apply
LIABILITY:

MC Peru Expeditions is not responsible for:

  • Clients failing to follow instructions from the guide, such as leaving the group to go independently.
  • Loss of luggage or personal belongings, which are the client’s responsibility.
  • Situations of force majeure beyond our control, including political disputes, unpredictable weather, road blockages, strikes, natural disasters, or railway issues between Aguas Calientes, Ollantaytambo, and Cusco (e.g., train delays).
PASSENGER PICK-UP POLICIES:
  • Passengers must wait in the hotel lobby at the start times indicated by the travel agency.
  • As this is a regular tour, the pick-up time may extend up to 15 minutes from the indicated start time.
